Instruments & items used in the embalming room

In this post I'm going to download some pictures of instruments, embalming equipment, etc. Chemicals found in Embalming fluid and other items used in the preparation of the deceased.
 In this picture items included are: curved threaded arterial tubes, straight threaded arterial tubes,  Luer Lock, stopcocks used to attach delivery hose from the injection devise to the arterial tubes. Luer lock stop cock used for arterial tubes with luer lock attachments.

This is an autopsy aspirator



 A"Y" tube for embalming an autopsied body. Drain tubes can be used to build circulatory pressure.
And iliac drain tube this long tube is designed to be inserted into the external iliac vein.

Substances that may be found in the majority of embalming fluids.

Top left: eyecaps placed over the eyeball to add form and fill the eyelid out, bottom left, mouth formers to shape the mouth if dentures or teeth is missing. Upper right, needle injector to close the mouth, bottom right; head rest.

Top: nasal tube aspirator, trocar a long hollow needle with threaded points that can be changed, hypovalve trocar, designed for hypodermic treatments, used for injection not aspiration, bottom left: & right; Trocar button and applicator, used to fill the hole in abdomen from trocar being inserted to aspirate contents of the lungs, stomach, lower intestines, bladder etc.
Miscellaneous  types of suture needles Top; post mortem half curved suture needles; B. Post mortem double curved suture needles, C. 3/8" circle needles with spring eye. D. Half curved suture needles, E. Loopuy needles.

Unionall covers. Plastic stockings, pants full body suit and coveralls. Used in sever cases of deceased whose body may be badly decomposed, drowned, burned, numerous cuts wounds, seepage etc.
